The Marshfield Police Department is planning to expand our current CERT Team. We are looking for volunteers to dedicate their time and learn disaster preparedness skills. CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) members are trained volunteers who specialize in disaster preparedness. Duties will include:
No previous experience is necessary. All training is included and will be a combination of online courses at home and in-person practical training at the Marshfield Police Department. Training schedule to follow.
All applicants must be able bodied, have the ability to stand for several hours, pass a background check and be available to assist as needed.
