At approximately 1:15am Marshfield Police Officer Thomas Fitzgerald pulled over a pickup truck for having an expired inspection sticker on Plain Street also known as Route 139 in Marshfield.  The driver and passenger were dressed in all black, were being evasive, appeared nervous and gave conflicting information.  Additional officers arrived on scene and noticed a blanket in the rear bed of the pickup truck that moved. Officers removed the blanket to find a third man later identified as "will updated shortly", dressed in all black with duct tape on his ankles over the bottom of his pants. While he was being removed from the bed of the vehicle a glass pipe containing crystal meth residue was observed in his possession.  The passenger in the vehicle later identified as Adam Parsons DOB 05/23/1978, was found to have an active arrest warrant for suspended license, uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle and possession of a class B and E drug.  The driver was identified as Jonathan Zakas DOB 5-12-84, was found to have four (4) active warrants for his arrest for B&E misdemeanor, 2 counts of possession of a class B drug, unregistered motor vehicle and suspended license. Officers confirmed his license was currently suspended.  A lock picking set, a glassine bag containing methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia was found in his possession.  All three suspects were placed under arrest. Back at the police station Carpine was found in possession of suboxone, Lexapro and anti-depressant pills. Through the investigation Officers located numerous power tool items and burglarious tools that were suspected and later determined to be stolen.  Also the suspects were found to have had a plan to burglarize a jewelry business in Pembroke.  All three (3) suspects will be arraigned in Plymouth District court today on the below charges.
