Sea clamming is open in the following area:

“The waters and flats of that portion of Massachusetts Bay in the Town of Marshfield, north of a line drawn due east from the Duxbury/Marshfield town marker to the Plymouth County Line; south of a line drawn due east from the Scituate/Marshfield Town Marker to the Plymouth County Line; southeasterly of a line drawn across the entrance jetties to Green Harbor; west of the Plymouth County Line and North of a line drawn due east from the end of Lowell Avenue out to one mile and south of a line drawn due east of Bryant Lane to one mile and east of a line drawn between the one mile markers and north of a line drawn due east from the end of Jackson Street out to one-quarter mile, south of a line drawn due east from the end of Lowell street to one-quarter mile and east of a line the Plymouth County Line drawn between the one-quarter mile markers.”

Sea Clamming is closed in the following area:

”The waters and flats of the outer coast of Marshfield, south of a line drawn due east from the end of Lowell Avenue out to one mile and north of a line drawn due east from the end of Bryant Lane out to one mile and west of a line drawn between the one mile markers.”

Sea Clamming is open in the following area:
All the shell fish beds in the North River east of the 3A bridge are open  
Permits for sea clamming in approved areas only can be purchased at the Harbormaster’s Office
